Beginning
We have begun engaging with students from high schools and secondary schools in Zvolen and the Gemer Malohont region in the Banská Bystrica region. Our networking partners for future collaboration in the development and promotion of awareness about the use of artificial intelligence through gamified training are the students gathered in the Youth Parliament of the city of Zvolen and students from the Center for Children and Families in Jesenské, Rimavská Sobota district.
Communities engagement
The mission of the OZ KONEKT Zvolen organization is to provide young people with a space for gaining information, support, and finding paths in education, employment, and personal development. Collaboration and support contribute to self-improvement and an active approach to life for all young people, regardless of their background. Several students have shown great interest in a new, previously unknown approach to digital education from the very beginning. The opportunity to participate in the creation of this gamified training has supported their entrepreneurial spirit and independent thinking.
To enhance awareness of cyber security, students were brought together to understand the most common types of cyber attacks that anyone can encounter in their lives at any time. From hacking to ransomware, phishing, and various types of malware. Defense against some of these attacks is simple – it only requires awareness and knowing how to respond correctly. That was the goal of the gamified training. Each time, you had the opportunity to experience a different life situation, which you overcame through the use of your own and artificial intelligence. In other words, you were learning to learn and simultaneously teaching others.
Network of Methodologists
Thanks to the innovative approach to training on the JukeBOX platform, participants can become co-authors of new stories after registration is completed, which will serve as important tools for education on various topics. In this ambition, methodologists appointed for individual EU member countries will assist interested parties. Methodologists not only understand the system of the gamified training platform JukeBOX but are also trainers, teachers, and partners for anyone who wants to learn.
The methodologist is the first to prepare young people for learning how to use the gamified training platform JukeBOX. An example of this are the students from schools in Košice at the Forum of Ecologists 2023 event.
Successful cooperation continues
The collaboration between CZECH.UP and NARA-SK has achieved a lot. We are excited about what the future holds for the CZECH.UP Jukebox platform, both at the national and international levels.
The ENERGOFUTURA 2023 conference with international participation, organized by the National Energy Cluster NEK in collaboration with the National Platform of Energy and Environmental Clusters and the Association NPEECA, was focused not only on the field of energy but also on the digitization of education. Participants welcomed a dedicated presentation block for the CyberBOX project on the JukeBOX platform. Partners CZECH.UP and NARA-SK formally presented its settings and the specific LP (CyberBOX). The colloquium of the international conference approved Certificate NEK No. 202305001 for the main methodologist of the JukeBOX platform, Denisa Uhlířová.
