Transnational project meeting (TPM) International meeting of CyberBOX partners

Datum

At the international meeting of CyberBOX partners (Transnational project meeting), which took place on 31.08.2023 in Zvolen in KONEKT - a place for meeting young people, the project partners evaluated the course of activities so far.

The CyberBOX project is nearing launch to the general public

The CyberBOX project is nearing its successful completion and roll-out to the general public across the EU. The consortium and project managers agreed on the very successful presentation and dissemination of innovative approach to education through gamified trainings in the field of cybersecurity at schools or youth institutions in Slovakia. During the course of the project, several meetings with youth took place in Slovakia, and the feedback and interest in participation was really strong. This project takes an innovative approach to teaching, highlighting the need to protect young people’s digital world from cyber threats and improve digital literacy. At the meeting, the partners discussed some uncertainties that were crucial for the successful completion of the project. Another important part of the project finalization will be supplemented by the EPMA partner with contacts for its dissemination and documents for the entire duration of the project in the first week of September.

Currently, very important testing of training is underway, and after completion of testing and proofreading (language, visuals, graphics, content) in the JukeBOX system, which was provided by secondary school students in Slovakia (expected to be completed by 25.09.2023), the CyberBOX training will open to the general public from October. Thanks to the innovative approach to training on the JukeBOX platform, participants can also become co-authors of new stories after completing registration, which will serve as important tools for learning on various topics. In this ambition, candidates will be assisted by methodologists determined by individual countries who are familiar with the system of operation of the JukeBOX. Together, during the testing weeks, we made sure that the training is not only effective, but also accessible to everyone and easy to find, regardless of the age of the candidates or their previous experience in the field of cybersecurity.

Our collaboration has achieved a lot, and we are excited about what the future holds for the CyberBOX Project and its impact on cybersecurity education. We invite everyone interested in creating new educational trainings to join us and participate in these innovative educational projects that help us protect the future in various areas of knowledge literacy.
